Letter: What happened in Steve Levy case?

With all the interest in Suffolk District Attorney Thomas Spota’s non-prosecutions [“Inside a Suffolk wiretap,” News, May 12], why not look at the case of former County Executive Steve Levy?
He was forced to turn over his campaign fund and not seek re-election. Under what law is that even possible?
