Letter: Why not fly to other NY cities?

I wonder if more traffic could be generated for Long Island MacArthur Airport in Islip if a commuter line were established with nonstop daily flights to Albany, Buffalo and Rochester ["Shaken by turbulence," News, April 23].
Many Long Island residents deal with New York State agencies or attend colleges in those cities.
