Letter: WikiLeaks violates privacy and decency

Hats off to Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida for saying Republicans shouldn’t discuss the Hillary Clinton campaign emails published by WikiLeaks. He advised against using that information for political gain.
This has nothing to do with which party or candidate you support. This is about privacy, dignity and decency.
Who among us would be comfortable with unscrupulous characters invading our private communication and putting it out for the public to see?
All of these WikiLeaks revelations to me are disgusting, and I’m not talking about the content, but the violation of privacy. A line has been crossed.
The only people who should gloat and use the information in these leaks are people who believe that if their private communications were out there and exposed for the world to see, they could withstand that scrutiny. By the way, I also believe the same is true of that “Access Hollywood” recording of Donald Trump. That conversation took place in private and should have been off limits.
