Letter: Yes, the jobs really did leave the U.S.

After reading the letter “Blame technology for loss of U.S. jobs” [April 20], it’s obvious the writer has not been shopping lately.
Most golf clubs, many cars, shoes, clothing and other items are manufactured outside of the United States. That represents millions of jobs.
