I am really fed up with hearing Mayor Bill de Blasio complain about how worried he is about his son [" 'Profoundly personal,' " News, Dec. 4]. I have news for you, Mr. Mayor. There are thousands of us who worry about our sons and daughters every time they go out, too. We are proud parents of NYPD officers who protect ungrateful citizens every day with not enough support from you.

Peter King, my representative in Congress, announced on CNN that he did not believe the coroner's finding of homicide by chokehold and chest compression.

In the congressman's expert medical opinion, Eric Garner died because he was a fat man with asthma. I watched the video again and thought, "Whom should I believe -- Peter King or my own lying eyes?"

I have read and heard so much about how the NYPD should have done things differently in the Eric Garner case. I have yet to hear a word about how Eric Garner should have acted differently, especially considering he knew he had health issues.
