Excellent story "LIPA's power connections" [News, Nov. 21]. It was a real eye-opener.
Then again, it's not only LIPA that is a pawn in what goes on here, but it's probably all of Nassau County that is rife with cronyism. No big company is immune to it, not one.

It's too bad that LIPA didn't translate those "power connections" into electricity for thousands of its customers in the aftermath of superstorm Sandy.
