I find it comically tragic that a letter writer thinks we should be blaming President Barack Obama for the state of this country ["Placing the blame on the 'last guy,' " March 15]. The Bush administration lied to us about the reasons for going to Iraq. It was the Bush administration, just weeks before leaving office, that told us we had to bail out banks with more than $700 billion. They apparently weren't worried enough about the banks' accountability before that.

I'm tired of people who think we should still be living in a nation full of lies, greed and financial problems. We are seeing signs of recovery; let's not go back to living on credit, hobbling the middle class, and providing huge tax breaks for corporations that outsource labor to meet that old bottom line.
