Letters: Weiner's appalling judgment

If the voters in New York City elect Anthony Weiner their mayor, they will get what they asked for: a person with an extremely poor sense of judgment who apparently finds it easy to be dishonest ["Weiner remains defiant," News, July 25].
Perhaps the same can be said about Eliot Spitzer.

No one can deny Anthony Weiner's appalling judgment, but what about the judgment of New Yorkers who have been supporting his mayoral candidacy and might continue to support him because he "deserves" a second chance?
