Letters: Wide divide over Martin case

During the press conference announcing the arrest of George Zimmerman, the only person special prosecutor Angela Corey didn't introduce was the captain of the firing squad that would be disposing of the defendant ["Martin case finally where it should be," Editorial, April 12].
It's a shame how the threat of rioting can make justice turn a blind eye.

I attended a rally for Trayvon Martin. It was orderly and purposeful. Like Trayvon's parents, the rally's leaders demanded only that George Zimmerman be taken into custody and have his day in court, so that the justice process could begin.
At last Zimmerman has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder. The nation will be safer if behavior like his is identified for what it is and prosecuted the way it should be.
