Nassau should act on referendum vote

It’s apparent that Nassau County Attorney Carnell Foskey is either stalling in deference to his boss, County Executive Edward Mangano, or is grossly incompetent [“Still no decision on referndum,” News column, Aug. 14].
It shouldn’t take a month for a county attorney to rule on the legality of a referendum.
It’s time to put a lid on “to the victor belongs the spoils” governing in Nassau County.
I hope everyone remembers this when they vote in November.
