It’s refreshing to see the rendering of the new Boardwalk Cafe at Jones Beach, which closely resembles the original [“State parks slated for major upgrades,” News, Aug. 10].
I was there the day the original cafe burned, and I will never forget the heroic efforts by local firefighters to save it.
