Two sides of the Trump U. settlement

So Donald Trump settled the Trump University lawsuit that he swore he wouldn’t settle [“Trump U. settles suits,” News, Nov. 19].
There are those who will say that this just confirms what we already knew. We have elected a snake oil salesman to the most powerful position in the world.
Yet, Trump and his supporters will argue the following: He made a sacrifice for the good of the country because he didn’t want to be distracted by frivolous litigation.
