Unhappy with King
I’ve been a registered Republican for more than 50 years. During much of that time, I’ve followed Rep. Peter King’s political career [“King might invite Trump to hamlet,” News, March 10].
I never liked his firm endorsement of the activities of the Irish Republican Army. I always thought it was inappropriate for a member of Congress to defend a terrorist organization.
What I find worse is King’s endorsement of President Donald Trump and the bigotry involved in Trump’s recent executive orders.
