Why put Oyster Bay supervisor’s name everywhere?

Why put supervisor’s name everywhere?

I realize Oyster Bay has a new supervisor, but is it really necessary to waste taxpayers’ money putting Joseph Saladino’s name on signs at virtually every town park, senior center and vehicle [“Town adopts transparency model,” News, May 3]?

I’m sure that money could be better used in other areas that would truly benefit the town.
