The prisoner exchange of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl for five high-ranking and dangerous Taliban fighters is highly questionable ["President's first duty was to bring U.S. POW home," Editorial, June 3].

One has to wonder about the advantages of this exchange. The circumstances of Bergdahl's captivity are murky. Given this, he should be closely monitored.
