Before that, Gross spent 14 years covering the Rangers and the NHL, the Jets and the NFL, MLB and college basketball for Gannett-Westchester/Rockland as part of the USA Today Network. Gross also hosts Island Ice, Newsday’s Islanders’ podcast.
