Andrew Gross covers the New York Islanders and the NHL. He joined Newsday in 2018 after 10 years covering the Rangers, Devils and NHL for The Record (N.J.). Before that, Gross spent 14 years covering the Rangers and the NHL, the Jets and the NFL, MLB and college basketball for Gannett-Westchester/Rockland as part of the USA Today Network. Gross also hosts Island Ice, Newsday’s Islanders’ podcast.
