Newsday Journalists: Tory N. Parrish

When she was a teenager, Tory wanted to be like Murphy Brown, the fearless TV journalist from the 1980s sitcom. She loved reading, writing and storytelling, so she pursued a career as a reporter. Since 2017, Tory has been covering the local retail and small business community for Newsday.
