Jacqueline Minogue , Suffolk County Scholar Artist for January

Jacqueline Minogue is a senior at Southampton High School and the Long Island High School for The Arts (LIHSA) in Syosset where she takes advanced theater classes. 

Jacqueline is a talented singer, actress and dancer with a high grade point average and extensive community service commitments that have earned her the Presidential Award for Community Service last year. 

In addition to her artistic endeavors, she is a member of The National Honor Society, Captain of the Varsity Soccer team and Varsity Basketball team and is Dance Captain for LIHSA Theatre Department Musical Theatre performance.
 

Jacqueline received a 100 on her NYSSMA solo and was a member of their elite choir. She was a finalist in a Concerto & Vocal competition sponsored by the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra, singing a solo at their final concert of the season held at Carnegie Hall. Upon graduation from high school, she plans on majoring in theatre.
