Mets.com will carry an exclusive live stream of Saturday night’s pregame ceremony honoring the 1986 Mets, the team announced Thursday.
The ceremony will begin at 6:15 p.m. and recognize players and coaches from the team’s most recent World Series championship team.
Had the game been on SNY’s schedule, it presumably would have been televised.
But Saturday’s game will be seen on Fox, so the Mets’ ability to show the event on live television is restricted by national broadcast rights. — NEIL BEST
