The hot Mets begin a three-game series against the L.A. Dodgers tonight at Citi Field. First pitch is scheduled for around 7:10 p.m.

Oliver Perez, tonight's starter for the Mets, is 0-2 with a 3.71 ERA this season. But Perez has beaten the Dodgers three times in four starts over the past three seasons. Perez has a 2.84 ERA in 25 1/3 innings in those starts. So all signs should point to Ollie having a good chance for a win tonight.

But the Dodgers have had some good success against Perez:

Garrett Anderson is 3 for 5 with a home run in his career against Perez.

Ronnie Belliard is hitting .333 in 12 career at-bats against Ollie.

Jamey Carroll is 4 for 5 (.800) in his brief career against Perez.

Matt Kemp is hitting .364 with a home run in 11 at-bats in his career against Ollie.

Russell Martin is hitting .455 in 11 career at-bats against Perez.
