Backman shows his temper
Wally Backman has the Class A Brooklyn Cyclones in first place, but his antics on the field may hold him back for serious consideration to one day manage the Mets. He's been ejected at least twice this season, with his second one coming last Saturday after he kicked dirt on an umpire after an animated argument during a home game. That Billy Martin-like bullying is no longer tolerated in the major leagues.
