Barajas strikes again
Rod Barajas is now hitting .438 with three home runs and six runs batted in since leaving the Mets for the Dodgers.
The cast-off catcher homered off Phillies' ace Roy Halladay Monday night in Los Angeles. It was the first home game for Barajas, who gew up a Dodgers fan.
Barajas almost caught his first major league no-hitter as Hiroki Kuroda went into the eighth inning before Shane Victorino lined a clean single to right.
Kuroda, according to reports, had been pulled back from a waiver claim made by the Padres.
