So here's the tally so far on the Johan Santana vs. Roy Halladay "who's better" debate:

Santana votes Santana.

Jimmy Rollins votes Halladay

And yesterday, the newest Met, Rod Barajas votes ... Halladay?

Well, Barajas admits he hasn't caught Santana yet, so he can only speak from experience, and he clearly has a man-crush on Halladay.

"You know what, just saying those two names, you can’t go wrong with either one of them," Barajas said from the dugout bench at Tradition Field. "I had the luxury of catching Doc for two years and he was unbelievable. He was prepared, not just mentally, but physically. He went into a game, there was no doubt in your mind that this guy was ready to go. I haven’t been around Johan. I’ll get to catch him a little bit here in camp. In about five or six months you guys can ask me that question again."

Barajas also was asked if Halladay -- who loved going the distance in the AL --  would rack up even more complete games for the Phillies in the pitching-friendly NL.

"If he’s the same Roy he’ll have the most in baseball," Barajas said. "He’s just so trained. He’s efficient. Every pitch he throws, he knows what he’s doing and he has a reason for doing it. He doesn’t waste pitches. A lot of guys get to an 0-2 count, they try to waste a pitch. He doesn’t waste pitches. Every pitch he throws it’s where he wants it, when he wants it. He’s just special, very special."
