Sure, it was interesting to hear what Jason Bay had to say about hitting at Citi Field, the rumors about his bad knees and the pressures of New York.

But Bay really got worked up when he was asked about curling. Yes, curling. Growing up in British Columbia, Bay actually was on a high school curling team for a few years -- and they didn't have a baseball team. As you might expect, Bay knows the rules quite well, even the changes to them, which now limit the amount of rocks that can be knocked out of the way.

"I was the least important guy on the team," Bay said. "The guys that throws the first two."

Bay also lamented Team Canada's loss to the U.S. in hockey the other night and raved about Martin Brodeur. That led to him saying, "There's a lot of Devils fans here, right?"

Um, Jason. You may know curling, but you have a lot to learn about New York.
