Beltran fitted with knee brace, further delayed?
The Mets have been tight-lipped on Carlos Beltran updates since last week's visit to Colorado for what the team has described as a routine, post-op checkup with the medical staff at the Steadman-Hawkins Clinic.
But a friend of the centerfielder mentioned this week that Beltran had been fitted with a knee brace during that trip, and Omar Minaya confirmed that it was done to help with the rehab process.
