Beltran update

From Mets PR:

Carlos Beltran went 2-4 with two singles and an RBI today for St. Lucie (A) vs. Charlotte . He played all nine innings in centerfield and had four putouts. St. Lucie lost, 7-3.

After the game, Beltran said

“I feel better and better everyday.  Not sure on a time line, but I am excited to join the team in New York .”

on Wright and Reyes making the All Star team:

  “Omar called me and informed me that both David and Jose had made the 2010 All Star Team.  I’m very happy for both of them.  Although they struggled at the beginning, they both worked hard and are having a great season.”
