Braves await word on Kris Medlen
The Braves probably need a fifth starter. Kris Medlen might have to undergo season ending surgery after injuring his ulnar collateral ligament in the fifth inning of last night's game with the Mets.
If an MRI reveals what the Braves expect, Triple A standout Mike Minor (4-1, 1.99) could replace Medlen.
