Carlos Beltran plays extended spring game
Carlos Beltran played in his first extended spring training game today in Port St. Lucie. He went 2 for 6 as the DH, three at-bats righty and three lefty.
A Mets spokesman said he did not full-out run the bases, but it was the first time Beltran has taken the field since the end of last season.
