Collins will go after wild cards
Manager Terry Collins will limit pre-game card playing by the Mets.
That will remind fans of the 1999 season when Rickey Henderson and Bobby Bonilla were playing cards in the clubhouse while the Mets were losing in Atlanta to the Braves in the NLCS.
At the time, Henderson said. ``I think playing cards gave me the opportunity to relax in the game.''
Henderson and Bonilla were later jetisoned from the team. Bonilla is still collecting on a deferred contract.
