Wright took the field for Monday's full-squad workout in a Michigan blue football jersey with his name on the back and the No. 16 of quarterback Denard Robinson.
The third baseman lost a Sugar Bowl bet with the Wilpons. Fred is a Michigan alum and a huge booster. "I thought they forgot about it," Wright said, "but today, they brought out the jersey. Hopefully, they get a rematch next year."
