Final word on Tatis' running blunder
We dealt with this in the late editions of the newspaper today, but in case you are curious here is what Jerry Manuel had to say Thursday about Fernando Tatis' ill-fated attempt to score from third on Wednesday on a would-be wild pitch:
“We like aggression, no doubt about that, but that was a little over the top. He knows. It’s nothing that you go back and dwell on.”
Manuel said he considered it a closed subject because Tatis admitted it was a mistake right after the game.
