Mets CEO Fred Wilpon appeared at spring training this morning to talk about the Bernard Madoff suit. David Lennon has complete details here

"We did not know one iota, one thing about Madoff's fraud,"   Wilpon told reporters.  "We didn't do anything wrong. If anything, we trusted a friend for a very long time."

Wilpon was accompanied by his son, Jeff, and team president Saul Katz. ``The one thing that no one ever, ever, in 50 years in business, questioned was my integrity," Wilpon said. "And you all have questioned my integrity. And I intend to go through with whatever is necessary to vindicate that, and get on with our lives."
