Futile Pirates arrive for four games
Think your team isn't doing well?
Counting this year, the Pirates will have put together 18 straight losing seasons.
At 48-94, Pittsburgh has the fewest victories of any big league team. Improving Baltimore and Washington are next at at 55-88.
The four game series at Citi Field presents a good opportunity for the Mets (70-73) to get back to .500 for the season. For whatever that may be worth.
