Mets sign outfielder Gregor Blanco to minor-league deal

The Mets added some outfield depth on Friday, signing 10-year veteran Gregor Blanco to a minor-league deal with an invitation to spring training.
Blanco, 34, won a World Series with the Giants in 2012 and 2014. He also has played for the Braves, Royals and Diamondbacks.
Blanco has a career .255 average with a .338 on-base percentage, 28 home runs, 235 RBIs, 122 stolen bases, 118 doubles and 39 triples in 1,060 career games.
He played in 68 games last season for the Giants, posting a .217 average with two home runs, 12 RBIs, seven doubles and three triples.
