A few notes before we get started here at Citi Field:

-- Jose Reyes had an MRI today and the Mets' described the results as "completely normal." But Reyes is still hurting enough to prevent him from batting from the left side, which is why Jerry Manuel dropped him to second tonight behind Angel Pagan. Reyes has every intention of attending the All-Star Game next week, but as to whether he play or not, that's undecided as of now. Manuel said he could play as a "righthanded hitter."

-- Ryota Igarashi was sent down to Class A St. Lucie to work on his secondary pitches over the All-Star break and Manuel said the earliest he might return is toward the end of the Mets' 11-game West Coast trip, which wraps in Los Angeles on July 25. Nick Evans was called up from Double-A Binghamton to replace as righthanded bat of the bench.

-- Last but not least, the Mariners traded Cliff Lee to the Rangers -- not the Yankees - so cross him off the Mets' wish list. Seattle's asking price was too steep anyway, which leaves the Mets looking more toward the Cubs' Ted Lilly at the moment.

Here's the lineup:

Pagan - CF

Reyes - SS

Wright - 3B

Davis - 1B

Bay - LF

Thole - C

Francoeur - RF

Tejada - 2B

Dickey - SP
