Jenrry Mejia has steller first Triple-A start
Jenrry Mejia let up one run in eight innings in his first start for Triple-A Buffalo last night.
He struck out nine batters, including seven of the first eight he faced.
Bisons broadcaster Ben Wagner told SNY that the opposition had “no chance” against Mejia, as he was able to throw both fastballs, which he had been working on in Double-A.
Wagner said Mejia’s curve ball was ‘fall-off-the-table good.’
Omar Minaya was in Buffalo to Watch Mejia according to Newsday’s David Lennon.
