Johan Santana still on hold

Johan Santana has been limited to long toss after complaining of shoulder soreness from his first attempts at throwing off a mound. As a result, Santana’s rehab program has been slowed, and the Mets did not indicate when he might try off a mound again.
“Everything is good so far, but he hasn’t gone far to push it,” John Ricco said. “That is really based on how he feels and when his body is telling him to give it a shot."
