Games in Las Vegas and Montreal highlight the Mets' spring training schedule, officially released Monday afternoon by the team.

Included in the 33-game schedule are a pair of exhibition contests, March 15 and 16, against the Cubs in Las Vegas at Cashman Field, home of the team's Triple-A affiliate, and two games to wrap up the schedule, March 28 and 29, at Montreal's Olympic Stadium against the Blue Jays.

The Mets open their Grapefruit League schedule Friday, Feb. 28, against the Nationals at Tradition Field. Of the Mets' 33 spring games, 14 are at home and 16 are against NL East opponents.

They play the Nationals and Marlins six times each and the Braves four times but do not see the Phillies.

The Mets will play defending National League champion St. Louis six times and the Tigers twice. There are no games scheduled against the Yankees, Red Sox, Orioles and Pirates, all of whom train in Florida.

The Mets open the regular season Monday, March 31, at Citi Field against the Nationals at 1:10 p.m.

Tickets to the games in Las Vegas are available online at LV51.com or by calling 702-798-7825.
