Livan large for Nationals
Wonder how righthander Livan Hernandez has lasted so many years?
He rarely gets hurt and he eats up innings. Hernandez has averaged 194 per season in his 15-year career. He has made at least 30 starts in 12 straight years.
Hernandez (9-10, 3.81), a former Met, starts this afternoon against R.A. Dickey (9-6, 2.91).
The Nationals already have signed Hernandez for 2011.
