M&M hit Citi Field tonight

Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau lead the Central Division-leading Twins against the Mets in the final interleague series of the season. 

Dare we say that Mauer is having a disappointing season? The reigning AL MVP is hitting .309 with three home runs and 32 runs batted in. That's way off last season's .365, 28 and 96 RBIs. But that was unreal, especially for a catcher. 

Morneau is more than making up for any slack in production by Mauer. The 6-4 first baseman could be shooting for  a career year. He has 15 homers, 49 RBIs and is hitting .349.  He hit 34 with 130 RBIs and batted .321 in his MVP year of 2006.   

You know how New Yok's other team has handle the Twins. Now, the Mets get their shot in the three-game series. The Twins have lost three straight and six of their last 10.
