Manuel suspended for tonight's game
Manager Jerry Manuel will sit out tonight's game after he was suspended by Major League Baseball for his argument with an umpire last Friday in Los Angeles.
Manuel also was fined an undisclosed amount. Bench coach Dave Jauss will handle the team tonight.
Manuel, who argued a play at second base and was ejected from the 6-1 victory over the Dodgers, was ejected by umpire Doug Eddings after Manuel disputed the umpire's call at second on Luis Castillo.
