PHILADELPHIA -- Matt Harvey could be dealing with two huge events next week.

Harvey is tentatively scheduled to throw off a mound in Port St. Lucie, Florida, for the first time since undergoing Tommy John surgery last Oct. 22. A Mets official said it could be Monday, though the day has not been finalized.

Monday also is the Rangers' first home game in the Stanley Cup Final. Harvey, an avid Rangers fan who is sporting a playoff beard, has tried to make it to New York when his schedule allows to attend the games.

The Mets are off Monday before beginning a homestand the next night. Through an agreement with the team, Harvey rehabs with the Mets when they are in New York and in Florida when they are on the road.

So Harvey could conceivably throw off the mound on Monday, fly home, cheer on the Rangers in person that night and be with the Mets the next night at Citi Field.
