The Mets will try for a four-game sweep of the Pirates, then host the Braves for three games starting tomorow night.

Braves manager Bobby Cox is in his last season on the bench and for long while it appeared his team would be a lock for post season. Not any longer.

The Phillies (85-61) have taken a three-game lead in the NL East and the Braves (83-64) are just a half-game ahead of the Giants (82-64) for the Wild Card. Colorado (80-66) is also in the picture.

As for the Mets' chances, if they sweep the Braves....nevermind.
