Mets ace Jacob deGrom won the coveted National League Cy Young Award on Wednesday, and next season, fans will be able to commemorate the award with a prize of their own.
The Mets will give away a bobblehead that depicts deGrom holding the Cy Young Award to the first 25,000 fans at Citi Field on Sunday, April 7, ahead of their game against the Nationals.
The Nationals' Max Scherzer finished second behind deGrom, who earned all but one first-place vote, for the award.
Tickets for the Mets' 2019 regular-season home games go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
