The Mets have 13 of their next 20 games on the road, a place that feels more comfortable for them than their own home. Here’s why:
Road record: 26-21
Road wins: 26; most in National League, second in majors to Rays and Red Sox, who are tied with 27
Record in last six road series: 5-0-1
Record this season in road series: 9-5-1; Last year, Mets won only five road series total
*Mets were 19-27 on road after first 46 games away from Citi Field in 2010.
