The Mets expect to know more Sunday about potential injuries to rightfielder Starling Marte and catcher James McCann in a 5-4, 10-inning win over the Marlins on Saturday.

Marte exited in the fourth inning because of tightness in his left groin. McCann had discomfort in his left side after reaching to apply a tag to Jesus Sanchez on a play at the plate in the sixth inning.

Both will get medical imaging done on Sunday, the Mets said.

“Marte came up to me and said, ‘I’m a little tight, I think I’m OK,’ but I’m not going to take a chance there,” manager Buck Showalter said. “We’re not in a position to be taking chances.”
