Meet the prospects the Mets have received in their MLB trade deadline deals

The Mets' trade deadline sale began late Thursday night when they traded reliever A.J. Minter to the Minnesota Twins. With some valuable players on the block, the Mets could kickstart their rebuild with the prospects that come back their way.
Here's a list of prospects the Mets have received in their deadline deals so far. This list will be updated through the MLB trade deadline, which is Monday at 6 p.m. Eastern.
Bruin Agbayani
The Mets received Agbayani, 19, as part of the return for Minter. The son of former Mets outfielder Benny Agbayani was the Twins' sixth-round pick in 2025 out of St. Louis School in Honolulu. Agbayani, a lefty-hitting infielder, has a 263/.432/.316 slash line despite playing in just 15 minor-league games in the last two years. He has been on the IL since May 16 with a right shoulder strain and also missed time earlier this season with a right thumb strain.
Billy Amick
Amick, 23, was part of the return for Minter. A second-round pick of the Twins in 2024 out of Tennessee, the corner infielder has a .251/.368/.463 slash line in 163 career minor-league games, including a .217/.338/.482 slash line with 23 home runs and 72 RBIs in 86 games with Double-A Wichita this season.
