Michael Conforto and Dominic Smith, Mets' first-round picks, playing well for St. Lucie

The Mets' Single-A Advanced St. Lucie squad lost to Tampa, 6-4, on Wednesday, but the two first-round draft picks playing for the team are looking like wins.
Leftfielder Michael Conforto (2014) was 1-for-4 with a double, run scored and RBI, and first baseman Dominic Smith (2013) went 2-for-3 with a double, walk, run scored and an RBI for the Mets (14-19, 5th place in Florida State League South).
Conforto, 22, is batting .280 with a .340 on-base percentage, six doubles and six home runs. The lefthanded hitter has 11 multi-hit games this season and owns a career .308 average in 75 minor league games.
Smith, 19, has a career .271 average and .349 OBP in 198 games. He had been scuffling this season (.205 average), but has come on of late. In his last four games, Smith is 7-for-15 with two doubles, five RBIs, four runs scored and two walks.

First baseman Eric Campbell was 3-for-4 with a home run, and centerfielder Kyle Johnson went 3-for-4 with a double as the 51s beat Sacramento, 5-1.
DOUBLE-A BINGHAMTON
(19-14, 2nd place in Eastern League Eastern)
Second baseman T.J. Rivera was 3-for-4 with a walk, and rightfielder Brandon Nimmo went 2-for-4 with a walk, but the Mets fell to Richmond, 2-1, in 10 innings.
SINGLE-A SAVANNAH
(12-19, 7th place in South Atlantic League Southern)
The Sand Gnats had off.
