Padres lead down to one game
Have you noticed what is happening in the National League West? San Diego has lost 10 straight and holds just a one-game lead over the Giants. That also makes for an interesting Wild Card scenerio. The Phillies have a two-game edge over the Giants, but Philadelphia is thinking division title as it trails the first place Braves by only a game in the NL East.
The Mets are sideline observers to all of this, trailing by 11 games for the Wild Card.
