LeBlanc has lost three straight starts and is winless sicne April 29. That’s the bit of good news for the Mets, whose pitching staff gave up 18 runs in Monday’s loss. Starter Hisanori Takahashi gave up six runs in four innings.
Pelfrey has a 1.31 earned run average over his last three starts and hasn't lost since May 1. He pitched seven scoreless innings against the Phillies in his last outing. Pelfrery is 1-0 with a 4.08 ERA lifetime vs. the Padres.
